Lauren
Riding Instructor
I have been riding horses for as long as I can remember! I competed in races, rodeos, and horse shows in middle school & high school, and then barrel raced for the K-State Rodeo Team for 3 years. I believe that “the basics” build a rider, and that a good foundation gives us the best opportunity to be successful. I aim to help students understand the “rhyme and reason” behind results, with a hands-on, breakdown approach to teaching. It's also important to me that students build the confidence needed to succeed. I understand that riding horses can be a scary experience, so I’m here to help students work through whatever anxieties they might have as well as learn proper safety practices and maintaining a good mindset.

The saddle has been a second home for me since I could sit up in one! I competed in field trials with hunting dogs before moving on to compete in reining, western pleasure, and horsemanship on the Equestrian team at K-State. Believe it or not, my journey doesn’t end there, I then moved on to cowboy at a feedlot where I fell in love with cow work and ranchy cow horses and started to get into breakaway and team roping. I have the skills that can be taught to anyone and everyone. I believe that a “can do” attitude is the only thing required to get into riding and I’m here every step of the way to cheer my students on and help them succeed. My goal is to help students gain the confidence and knowledge they need to get in the saddle and show them the many wonders of western riding that many believe they could never do.
My horse, Doc Holliday, and I offer lessons for every level of rider, from cow work, to roping, to reining, and so on!

Genevieve
Riding Instructor
Ever since I was in elementary school, horses have been a huge part of my life. Riding started as something I loved to do, but over the years it has turned into a passion that has taught me patience, responsibility, confidence, and hard work. Being around horses has shaped who I am and continues to push me to become a better rider and person every day. One of my biggest goals is to help younger students and riders grow their confidence and skills in and out of the saddle. I want to encourage riders to believe in themselves, work hard, and build strong connections with their horses.

Grace

I'm a professional photographer with over a decade of experience, I successfully operate my own photography business. I photograph mostly equine events and portraits. With over a year of experience working with horses from the ground up, I continue to refine my skills in the saddle. My passion lies in interacting with young horses on the ground and establishing a strong foundation for their success and over all health. Safety is my top priority along with honesty and horsemanship, ensuring the well-being of both humans and equines.
